Meet the Riverpointe HOA Board Members

Joshua Burak

Hello neighbors,
I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself. My wife Kelley and I are originally from Central New  York, where we raised our family. After our youngest headed off to college, we decided it was time for a change. Having already fallen in love with the charm and beauty of Eastern Tennessee, we made  RiverPointe our new home in 2019. Since moving here, we’ve come to truly appreciate what makes this community so special—the people. RiverPointe is more than just a neighborhood; it's a welcoming and vibrant community, and we've enjoyed getting to know many of you over the years. In 2022, I began serving on the HOA Board and I am honored to serve. Along with the rest of the Board, I’m committed to building on the strong foundation laid by previous
leadership. Our goal is to continue enhancing the quality of life in RiverPointe while honoring the values
and traditions that make this community unique. I look forward to serving and working with each of you to keep RiverPointe a place we’re all proud to call home.

My wife Mindy and I have called Riverpointe our “home away from home” for more than twenty years. Coming up from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, we are always excited as we approach the mountains of Tennessee.  The variety of wildlife, calming walking trails and great places to eat make for ideal getaways.  Having served for several years on the HOA Board of Directors, I have a renewed appreciation for the dedication and hard work the board puts in to preserve and protect our blissful community.  Hope you will come to appreciate and love it as we do.

Alicia Roy

My name is Alicia Roy, and my family is originally from southern Middle Tennessee. We moved to East Tennessee in 2002 for my husband's job. I am a local Realtor with Prime Mountain Properties and have been in real estate since 2004. My husband, a local musician and fellow Realtor, and I make up the Roy Team. We have two boys: Isaac and JC. Our family enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, and everything outdoors.

Since 2002, our family has owned a home in the River Pointe Subdivision, which holds a special place in our hearts. Our home has been an Airbnb, known as Zeek's Retreat, since 2020, after we purchased a little farmhouse on ten acres just outside the city limits. We are completely hands-on with our Airbnb and love our neighborhood for its walkable areas, fishing from the riverbanks, and the lush greenway across from our home. I was nominated to join the HOA in December 2023 and happily accepted my position as a board member.
Brett Weaver

Brett Weaver

Brett (and Amy) Weaver are lifelong residents of Middle Tennessee who love to visit the Great Smoky Mountains. Amy is a teacher, and Brett works in the hospitality furniture industry. When our family wants to escape for a weekend retreat, we love to visit the area because it's fun for our whole family. It's also a great place to go to just relax and unwind and enjoy Mother Nature. We have found or investment in Riverpointe rewarding in many ways, and enjoy working with the Board of Directors to maintain and improve the community.

My husband Scott and I chose a lot and floorplan in September 2003. We observed our house being built from the ground up observing the clearing of reeds so we could see the river, installing the 12 foot steel posts, to completion. We closed on our house the week before Christmas. It was our happy place and place of rest until he passed away suddenly and unexpectedly September 2016. I love Riverpointe and all the friends I have made in this special community.
My home, 530 Tanasi Trail, is my vacation and 2nd home.
I have one son, one step-son, and two grandsons.
I am accounting manager and presently serve as Treasurer for Riverpointe.
My main residence is in Greer, SC where I serve in different ministries of my local church.
Help us make Riverpointe the jewel of Pigeon Forge!
